In this blog I hope to document both sides of my life.
One of my favorite movies is Sweet Home Alabama. There are many quotable lines,but one that has effected me the most is, “You can have roots AND wings Mel. “
I grew up on a farm and I love the deep roots that I have as a result. My life is rooted in faith and family. I enjoy knowing I have an extended family that is rock solid and consistent. It is an incredible gift.
My husband introduced me to wings. He is creative, fearless and has big dreams. Together we travel and try new things. I pray that our example inspire our children to grow into their dreams while protecting their roots.
